Career Aspects Lee Jun Ki first started out as a model and held minor roles in Korean dramas. He was first seen on TV in 2001 in the commercial for the So Basic fashion label. His first drama appearance was in the KBS drama city series, What Should I Do?, where he starred as a dissatisfied teenager. Later one, he also starred in another drama, Star's Echo, as a minor role.
Lee Jun Ki quickly rose to stardom when he starred in the 2005 movie, King's Man, which sets place in the 15th century during Korea's Joseon Dynasty. His role in the movie was as Gong-Gil, a beautiful, effeminate street entertainer/clown/minstrel who later captured the eyes of Yeonsangun, the King. Lee Jun Ki's superb acting contributed to the movie's instant success as it became the highest grossing film in South Korea during that time with over 12 million viewers.
He also starred as a supporting character on the Korean drama hit, SBS's My Girl, together with Lee Dong Wook, Lee Da Hae, and Park Si Yeon. His newest work, Fly Daddy, which is set to be released by the end of this year has received much attention and coverage. Lee Jun Ki is currently filming in two movies, The Magnificent Trip and First Snow.
